SINUS LIFT
The upper jaw contains sinuses: the space filled with air of individual size. When molars are missing longer period of time in the jaw, the sinuses are lowered at the expense of the bone. There is a height of the jaw bone missing for implants. The problem is even more outstanding if the molars are removed due to progressive periodontitis when the bone is destroyed by chronic inflammation. Fortunately, the surgery techniques lifting the bottom of sinuses provide very good results. Depending on the existing height of the bone, it will be executed small (closed) or big (open) lifting of the sinuses bed.
APICOTOMY (removing infection in its root)

Apicotomy is usually performed only when by tooth cure (endodontic therapy) or by repeated cleaning and filling root channels (revision) the aim is not achieved, that is inflammation removing around the top of the tooth root. If needed, the tooth root is filled retrograde or lateral at the top of tooth root. The control is after 6 months by the intraoral X-ray.
